Bad timing can turn a completely normal situation into an absolute disaster within seconds. Sometimes everything is going perfectly until one unexpected notification, phone call, or coincidence happens at the worst possible moment. These situations often feel especially unlucky because the chances of everything lining up at that exact second seem ridiculously small.

Psychologists sometimes connect this feeling to negativity bias, where embarrassing or stressful experiences stick in our memories more strongly than ordinary moments. Someone could go months without a single problem, only for the most inconvenient thing imaginable to happen the second they let their guard down. The worst part is trying to explain an innocent situation when the timing makes you look unbelievably suspicious. 😭😂
