In 2020, Apple introduced widgets for the first time with its iOS 14 update. To ensure that The Dots stays up-to-date with the latest market features, we decided to create a set of widgets that could be utilized by our community. Despite facing challenges in ideating at a very early stage of the Apple feature, and having so many different ideas, we followed certain principles that helped us create a set of widgets based on our top features, such as profile stats, jobs, and upcoming events.

Apple has created a helpful resource page to assist with building widgets for your app. Visit https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/widgets#Resources to learn more.
