My first ever dump… and cheers to my first month being 30. Simple birthday that was dinner and a movie with my besties and then seeing Nicki a few days later was a great start! Ended the month with my bestie Alison’s bridal shower and meeting the cast of DWTS… all while having my favs new album Eternal Sunshine on repeat the entire month ☀️

Tinashe Tells Republican Fan “Y’all Can Go” After Getting Checked Over Vote Blue Message Blogged by: Grace L. Tinashe had a quick message for a fan who was upset about her apparent support for Democrats on Election Day: “Y’all can go.” The singer found herself in a political back-and-forth on Tuesday, November 3, after sharing a message encouraging Americans to vote in the 2026 midterm elections. But it wasn’t her call for people to head to the polls that caused the issue. It was the blue hearts she added to the post. Tinashe originally wrote, “VOTE OR DIE ! LETS GO AMERICA” followed by a string of blue heart emojis. While she didn’t specifically name a Democratic candidate, the blue hearts were widely recognizable as a nod to the Democratic Party, which uses blue as its signature color. One X user wasn’t feeling it. She accused Tinashe of pushing away her Republican fans and suggested the singer should have considered her politically conservative audience before posting. “You literally just refuse to listen to those of us with sense. Did you have to have the blue hearts…alienating your red audience? Girl, are you neurodivergent? It gets to a point…” the user wrote. Instead of getting into a long debate, explaining her political views, or apologizing for the emojis, Tinashe gave her a response that was short and straight to the point. “Yall can go ✌️” And that was that. The exchange made it clear that Tinashe wasn’t interested in changing how she expresses herself politically to keep every fan happy. Janet had specifically complained about the singer alienating her red audience, a reference to Republican voters, and Tinashe’s answer didn’t exactly suggest she was worried about losing them. For anyone who has followed Tinashe outside of her music career, her political views shouldn’t come as a complete surprise. Back in 2020, the singer was vocal about her opposition to Donald Trump during his first term. In an October 2020 feature published by Pitchfork, Tinashe criticized Trump’s leadership and spoke about how his policies affected marginalized communities. She also encouraged Americans to take voting seriously.
