I’d never say that a screen-free road trip is the only way to offer our kids wonder, resilience, and perspective — but I have found it to be a potent one in my life, and in the life of my family! Grateful for all the miles we’ve logged together ❤️

We do screen-free everything, but for road trips I would say the hardest part is the crayons, marker lids, small toys, books, etc. that are all over the backseat at the end. 😂 it truly looks like a tornado hit us.

Yes! Our kids ended up playing with animal figurines for a solid two hours in traffic on our last road trip 🤣 we pack lots of books and snacks and small toys and comfy things! And call it a day! And they ask to go road trip like every other day 😂 love this!

Yes! We didn’t have screens growing up so that’s all we knew and did for our kids.

Love this. A roadtrip without screens always feels like a little victory-we don’t always but when we do it’s worth it
