Kansas has elected a Democratic U.S. senator for the first time since 1932, with Adam Hamilton defeating Republican incumbent Roger Marshall in the 2026 midterm elections. The historic upset ended a 94-year Republican winning streak in a state Donald Trump carried by more than 16 percentage points in 2024.

The result marks a major Democratic breakthrough in one of America’s traditionally Republican states. Kansas last voted for a Democratic presidential candidate in 1964, although it has elected Democratic governors more recently. Meanwhile, its 2026 governor’s race remains too close to call.

Your triggers reveal where you’re not free. What someone says or does to upset you may expose an underlying belief you have about yourself. So today I'm going to tell you about seven common triggers and what they may reveal.

1. Criticism. You believe your worth depends on being good enough or competent.

2. Rejection. You believe you need other people’s acceptance to feel worthy.

3. Being ignored. You rely on external validation to feel like you’re enough.

4. Losing control. You believe you can’t feel safe or at peace unless life goes your way.

5. Someone crosses your boundaries. You may struggle to assert your needs and prioritize yourself.

6. Someone else’s success. You measure your worth by comparing yourself to others.

7. Someone disagrees with you. Your identity is attached to being right.

Here’s the thing: It’s not just what someone says or does. It’s what you make it mean about you.

If someone can destroy your peace simply by ignoring you or disagreeing with you, your peace is still dependent on their behavior.

And if someone else’s opinion determines how you feel about yourself, you’ve given them power over your inner world.

Your triggers reveal where you’ve handed your freedom to someone else.

And those are precisely the places where your work begins.

Because the more you recognize that your worth isn’t determined by what other people think, say, or do, the less power they have to disturb your peace.

That’s what freedom looks like.

So if you want to be less triggered and experience more freedom, DM me today to begin your healing journey.

A Gujarat session court has sentenced three Muslim convicts to life imprisonment in a 2024 cow slaughter case, citing Hindu scriptures including the Manusmriti, Rig Veda and Harivamsa Purana in its judgment.

The Additional Sessions Court in Kalol, Gandhinagar district, convicted Wasim Qureshi, Mohammad Rafiq Qureshi and Ashfaq Behlime after police recovered 277 kg of meat from a house in Jamla village in August 2024. Laboratory tests subsequently confirmed that the meat was beef. Two other accused, Ghulam Moin Qureshi and Vitthal Senma, were acquitted due to insufficient evidence. The court also referred to a shloka from the Mahabharata’s Anushasan Parv, describing the cow as the mother of the world and beneficial to human life and society.
