9 months agoYour ability to capture the nebulous, ethereal, and ineffable nature of this realm is incredible.

2 years ago@jimmy.figs I am deeply inspired by your experience. I just felt it is important to speak my truth on this and hope you will be willing to hear me. Almost 5 thousand people saw your post so this is important for people to know before buying seeds and connecting with this plant. Your art is truly so gorgeous, dreamy, and helps us feel the magic of the realm you were in, to the mystical realms within the Earth. I am so appreciative of you sharing your beautiful connection with this divine flower 🌿🙏✨ Thank you.
2 years ago@jimmy.figs Inspiring people to connect with this plant spirit without offering key knowledge about the plant being poisonous is very harmful. Other entheogenic plant spirits will not kill you but Datura can. I appreciate that you're inspiring people about how gorgeous of a medicine it is. Adding to your beautiful experience that this is a poisonous plant and that it can also be deadly is not only incredibly important knowledge, but I believe it's also deeply respectful of the plant spirit itself. I believe it would also be most respectful to our plant medicine community in humanity too, to offer the conscious awareness when it comes to mentioning plant medicine in the poisonous realm. Even very brave herbalist women that I know who study poisonous plants as medicine are cautious and intimidated by Datura, and for a good reason. The energy of that is truly a beautiful aspect of some medicines. That isn't going to ruin the beauty of sharing your experience at all but rather share a full scope on the deep reverence to be felt and majesty of the plant realm, its holiness. It only deepens the respect we hold for the plant for others to know it is deadly. Sharing this doesn't have to be looked at as a disclaimer, but rather it can be looked at as an act of kindness to care about the safety of kindred plant folks interested in entheogens. Offering deeper awareness or knowledge on plants is always a good idea when sharing about a poisonous one. After reading your post, some people might go ahead and buy seeds, take too much, and not only die, but a dear sister shared with me that souls can potentially be stuck in the Datura realm after death by Datura. Inspiring people to try Datura is not similar to inspiring people to have sex or buy a gun, as you mentioned in the comments. Most people are educated about those things whereas Datura is a very obscure plant. I admire your deep relationship with this plant spirit and having the courage to share.
