The whole crew has been rolling with the punches throughout this challenge. It was endurance at its peak from the off. The plans were to roll into NYC in our RV at 3am Sunday morning. @magellanjets changed those plans and othered us the greatest luxury of efficient travel 🧭 n style. I just sat and had beers with my dad, brother and Robbie and couldn’t be happier or more ready for tomorrow. I will remain eternally grateful for their support over this challenge.
Cai Creek in the Kootenays is one of the last old-growth forests left in B.C., home to 300+ year-old trees and the largest ponderosa pine in B.C., named Lieutenant Dan. Now this forest is slated for clearcutting. The logging company has already started building the road meaning this forest could be completely destroyed by 2027. Hundreds of people have spoken up to protect Cai Creek. You can help us spread awareness and build public pressure to protect one of the last ancient forests that make British Columbia so special. Want to help? Call the BC Timber Sales Kootenay Branch at 250-825-1100 and ask them to pause clearcutting of the Cai Creek watershed. Then comment “Action” and we’ll send you a link to send a message to the B.C. government asking them to protect old growth across the province.
Exploring the roots of the person I call home ✨🍊 A little visit to Babar’s village, where I got to see his beautiful orange orchards for the first time 🤌🏻 A few pictures with flowers because why not? 😂 When life gives you an orange orchard, you pose 😂 Just a girl with her favourite person 🤭❤ Say hello to this adorable girl 🤌🏻🌸 A little piece of Babar’s world that I’m now exploring ☺️ A little appreciation for my unpaid personal photographer 🤣❤ Nothing beats fresh oranges straight from the tree ✨ ✨✨ Somewhere between the orange trees and endless love 🥹🫶🏻 Chai lovers know this feeling 🤭 And guess who I was most excited to meet? Babar’s horses 😂😍🥹 ✨🍊 Got to see the cows at the dera 🐄 You can never say no to a proper desi nashta 🤌🏻

as someone who’s husband has been on the front lines of this very real battle this world is facing, I can say this: in a world that thinks human trafficking looks like the movie “Taken”, it’s anything but that. predators are sly. they know how to groom, what to say, and how to get their foot in the door. sometimes you’ll see the warning signs clear as day, other times you’d never know it unless you knew what to look for. as sick as it makes me to say, this Disney sting operation is unfortunately an example of just that. if this news story or post makes you uncomfortable, good — it should. don’t just be outraged by this headline and then do nothing with those emotions. learn the warning signs… report things that make your discernment go off, even if it ends up being nothing. support organizations on the front lines who are doing the work to expose this evil. because “awareness without action” is just another headline we’ll forget by next week. too many people have become numb to seeing new stories like this, and just keep scrolling. Jesus, this world desperately needs You. #christian
