I am incredibly grateful and proud to announce the completion of my Master's Degree in Sustainable Development from the School of Environmental and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. This achievement is the result of years of hard work, determination, and passion for creating positive change in the world. As the first female from Liberia to be awarded the prestigious American Association of University Women (AAUW) fellowship, it fills me with immense pride, knowing that I have broken barriers and opened doors for girls and women to follow. It's a testament to perseverance, hope, and the belief that change is possible, even in adversity.
Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of serving as a research assistant and a graduate student instructor, experiences that have significantly shaped me both personally and professionally. Reflecting on this milestone, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude to everyone who has supported me along the way. This degree is not just mine; it belongs to my family, my community, and my country. It's a symbol of what is possible when we dare to dream and work tirelessly to turn those dreams into reality. With this degree 📜 in hand, I am more determined than ever to be a catalyst for positive change and to inspire others to reach for the stars. ✨
