Mr. I’s classes are dismissed for the summer !!! 👨🏻‍🏫🌍🧬🔭📚

Since the Fall of 2021, I’ve been working as a middle school and high school STEM Teacher and Basketball coach. It’s been an incredible “side quest” in my career, going from clinical medical training to both clinical & nonclinical medicine / public health / community service. “Big Community Guy” over here, reporting for duty. 💪🏽🫡🇺🇸🌍

After working for local governments during the height of the pandemic, I adventured next to where I thought the need was greatest at the time. God has a way of winding your path towards service & success when you truly commit to it in your heart & mind. I saw the needs in the youth of America and so I went where I felt called…. It was the BEST 👏🏽DECISION 👏🏽EVER.

I have so many beautiful memories and FUNNY stories with these kind, loving, precious kids of Philadelphia and I know I have made lifelong friends in the process (teachers, families, and students, you know who you are!). We also won some hard fought basketball games and made it to a city championship game. Stories and photos to come. 🏆🏀

As the journey continues, remember to stay curious, stay humble, and to always “Work like it’s up to you, and Believe like it’s up to God.”
