Whenever I get the opportunity to slip away from my mop & bucket for a while, I love to go out on the struts, take out my binos and do a little bird watching. I watch the gulls glide effortlessly as they ride the wind and I wonder to myself how life could have been different if I had decided to become a jet pilot or a space-man. The freedom of flight, soaring through the clouds exceeding the speed of sound or maybe being thrust out of the Earth’s atmosphere on a rocket ship… but then I remember the one and only time I flew on a plane to NY when I began working on the Big Shell. I was shaking like a dog trying to 💩 a peach pit. We hit some turbulence and I almost opened the emergency escape and jumped out just to get it over with!! Maybe flight isn’t my thing after all.. but boy, do I enjoy to watch it! My feet are better planted on the ground pushing a broom or mop. Big Shell is high up enough for me… Anyway.. gotta get back in there and get to work… y’all have a great day. - 🧼 🫧 🧽 🧹 🧻
