At white and blue, you’re just a couple. Gotta work up to power status.

Just train Jiu Jitsu we are here and provide the greatest facility for you!

🇺🇸 A new floor, the same commitment to excellence. 🩷

At Checkmat Kihei, every detail matters. Providing the best possible facility for our community is more than a responsibility — it’s a reflection of the care, respect, and dedication I have for every person who steps onto our mats.

As a woman-owned academy, I take pride in creating an environment where our students can train safely, grow stronger, build confidence, and feel that they belong. From the quality of our mats to the atmosphere we create, every improvement comes from the same purpose: giving our community a place where they can become the best version of themselves.

Behind every detail is a commitment. Behind every improvement is a vision. And behind this academy is a love for Jiu-Jitsu and the people who make Checkmat Kihei what it is.

This is more than a facility. This is our community, our home, and our standard of excellence.

🇺🇸One of the greatest things Jiu-Jitsu has given me is the people who stand beside me in the trenches.

School owners who open their doors and offer me training, knowledge, and a place on their mats. Coaches who share their experience. And even people who choose to stand in my corner at events across Asia, simply because they believe in me and in what we are building.

You learn a lot about people when there is nothing to gain from standing beside you.

Because in the end, the people who stand with you in the trenches matter more than winning the war.

I’m deeply grateful for every coach, professor, teammate, and school owner who has shared their knowledge, their space, their time, and their energy with me.

Jiu-Jitsu connects us far beyond borders. Oss. 🥋

Deep Appreciation to @maui_grappling_academy and @hanaloaschoolofjiujitsu

Oss. 🥋
