WOW!! It all hit me last night… 💕💓 When we were filming @missgovernornetflix in 2025, my dear friend and executive producing partner @keishabottoms shared so many stories from her journey in politics to help inspire our storytelling. She also shared with me that she was thinking about running for Governor of Georgia. Nothing was official yet, but the possibility was in the air! Meanwhile, we were laser-focused on telling stories about women in leadership, the challenges they face, and all the behind-the-scenes madness that comes with it! We had SO many more stories to tell, but unfortunately, we didn’t get a second season. But here’s where it gets GREAT! While our fictional Governor’s journey came to an end, we got to watch our REAL-LIFE executive producer step into her own race for Governor! And now, we’re witnessing her VICTORY! And in TRUE KEISHA FASHION… she did something that absolutely touched my heart… She intentionally chose to wear a victory-night suit designed by the same designer, @hideokibespoke who created Antoinette Dunkerson’s suit in our season finale… in the EXACT SAME FUCHSIA COLOR!! 💗 Y’ALL!!! The fact that our little show was even on her mind during such a monumental moment in her life means more to me than I can express! So, effective immediately, we are NO LONGER calling this color fuchsia!
