Diplomacy, surpasing national, racial and ideological limits.

It was a pleasure to met my role model, Ibu @retno_marsudi on #10thworldwaterforum.

When i was young, i doubting the story about Indonesian Independency. I thought “how could Indonesian beaten Netherlands people who had machine guns only with sharpened bamboo?” It just irrational for me. But the books i read in highschool told me, it wasn’t the bamboo, it was the spirit that transformed to be million ways. And one of those is diplomacy.

Some of my favorites figures such like Sutan Sjahrir and H. Agus Salim, wasn’t look like people who can dodge bullets and beat their enemies with bamboo. But they was great because they did diplomacy in International forums, from Linggarjati, to United Nations.

And sinced then, i believe to achieve peace we should do diplomacy, do communicate with others.
