We’ve had our first four 72-hour riders home but who took a rest and who pressed on and took a 3-hour penalty? With two 3-hour stops, it’s looking like rider 21, Daniel Vipond, has it in the bag by just 17 minutes with a time of 57 hours and 2 minutes. Flippin’ awesome rides by all though, eh?

What a ride by these three. Exceptional times. The Sunday morning rain was a killer and a head wind all the way back to Sheffield. Congratulations to @dan_vipond for the overall win. 🙌🏼

Well done everyone ! Reminds me of last year where I took two full stops - of almost 4 hours and cruised in at 130am .. love this race ! Well done everyone, it looked very tough out there with weather etc, but this is the challenge ! 2025 - think I’ll be back for another crack 😍

Technically no because he only had 1 2hour 30min rest according to the GPS meaning it wasn’t a 3 hour continuous rest as per your rules
