Roseann Briggs

Ciara Briggs!! There aren’t enough words to express how proud I am of you. Not gonna lie, I’ve cried several times this week. I’m not sure if people truly understand the grieving process you have to go through. You’ve spent your life playing this game, and my gosh, what a journey it’s been!

I know things didn’t end the way you wanted. But as someone reminded me, remember what you brought to this game and the legacy you left at LSU. Seeing little girls wearing 88 and having their parents tell us you’re their favorite, or people in the stands wearing your jersey and saying how much they love watching you play, is incredible. You play with heart and grit, always leaving it on the field.

Thank you for the memories, Ciara. Your impact on the game, at LSU and on us is unforgettable! I know God is not done with you yet and I’ll be cheering you on your next journey! You’re #1 fan, go get’em Tiger! Love you 💜💛
