The rays, were really active this morning at Puerto Escondido. This is their annual mating place and the jumping and flying is part of the mating attraction process.

And all of a sudden, I am obsessed with adding words to my art. The zine fair at The Goat Farm in Atlanta last weekend was absolutely fantastic and so inspiring! Also highly recommend seeing Wildwood. The artistry of that movie is unreal! You put all of these things together and I was compelled to make my first zine. They’re super easy to make, and there are endless possibilities for how to do it. I just used a piece of cardstock, some acrylic paint, charcoal, and ink for mine. I sell the ink at CozyLark.com and everything else can be found at your local craft store or online. This is such a fun form of expression, and anyone can do it!!
