Being black pilled is more than just losing faith in politics, society, or the institutions that claim to represent us. It is the realization that the world we were taught to believe in is often far different from the world that actually exists. It is watching the same promises get broken, the same lies get repeated, and the same powerful people escape accountability while ordinary people are left to deal with the consequences. At some point, you begin to question everything. You question the political system, the media, the culture, and the institutions that were supposed to protect the values upon which society was built. You begin to recognize how easily public opinion can be manipulated, how quickly principles are abandoned for convenience, and how often the illusion of progress disguises the reality of decline. The hardest part about being black pilled isn’t necessarily discovering these things. It’s realizing how little seems to change once they’re exposed. Scandals come and go. Politicians rise and fall. The headlines change, but the underlying problems remain. People become so accustomed to disappointment that corruption, dishonesty, and moral decay begin to feel normal. Eventually, the constant cycle of false hope and disappointment creates a sense of detachment. You stop believing that every election will save the country. You stop expecting powerful institutions to suddenly develop a conscience. You stop assuming that the people in charge have the best interests of ordinary citizens at heart. Cat got ur tongue?
Not everything we filmed this year made it onto your feed 👀 The pasta, the sunsets and the weekends away were all real, but they weren’t the whole picture. While we were sharing those moments, we were also quietly starting the biggest chapter of our lives: growing our family 🥹 We’ve held this close for months, and posting it feels a little surreal. Now we’re bringing you along for every part of it, the hopeful days and the hard ones, honestly and in real time-ish 🫶🏼 If you’re on your own path to parenthood, whether that’s IVF, two moms, going solo or still dreaming about it, we hope this series makes you feel a little less alone 🤍 So ask us anything below! We’ll answer all your questions in the next episodes #ivfjourney #twomoms #ivfcommunity #lgbtqfamily #twomomfamily
