Vivienne, the 18-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has legally dropped “Pitt” from her surname. A Los Angeles judge approved her petition on November 2, changing her name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. She filed the request in July, shortly after turning 18, and had already used “Vivienne Jolie” professionally while working on the Broadway musical The Outsiders.

She becomes the fourth of the former couple’s six children to make the change legally, following Shiloh, Maddox and Zahara. Shiloh’s request was approved in 2024, while Maddox and Zahara’s changes became official in September 2026. Although the decisions have drawn considerable public attention, a name change alone cannot explain the private relationships within a family.

Creator (Drea Bean) shares why she believes some mothers struggle to find people willing to watch their children. According to her, they push away their support systems by taking advantage of people who agree to babysit.
