Middle-earth could be getting its own Hogwarts Legacy-sized adventure ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ A new AAA Lord of the Rings game is reportedly in development, built as a large third-person action RPG designed to compete with the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy. According to Insider Gaming, the project is backed by close to $100 million in funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. The game is said to blend story-driven exploration with RPG elements. Fans are hoping that means a huge, open Middle-earth to roam, with the chance to explore corners of Tolkienโ€™s world that have mostly lived in the background of the books and films, rather than replaying the moviesโ€™ greatest hits. Nothing has been officially announced yet, including whoโ€™s actually making it. What would you want to do first in an open-world Middle-earth? ๐Ÿ‘‡ Media: @gamemes
