Art exists to comfort the disrupted and disrupt the comfortable. That's how art heals. As we tirelessly move towards justice with broken hearts but fortified spirits, we want to use our platform to thank creatives and artists for using their talents to honor George Floyd's life and speak out against the violence that ended it. Yet, this isn't just about George Floyd. This is also about Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, Philando Castille and Tamir Rice, Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin, and the countless other lives we've never heard of because they didn't become a hashtag. Around the world, people are standing shoulder to shoulder united during COVID-19 to fight the longstanding virus that is systemic racism.
