paul_manifold and K9 Officer Mike Farage
North Las Vegas Police Department

The Mateufel family, Farage family and NLVPD are mourning the loss of one of their own, 6 year old K9 Jako. Tragically, Jako lost his brief battle with spinal cord cancer. Jako has served the citizens of North Las Vegas and surrounding areas heroically for almost three years. Jako is credited with numerous suspect apprehensions and crime scene article finds. Jako was #K9OfTheDay on September 21, 2018. Jako is greatly missed, but continues to live on in the hearts and memories of everyone's life he touched. Rest easy Jako.
