🌤️Fairuz (born Nouhad Wadie Haddad) is an iconic Lebanese singer, widely regarded as one of the greatest vocalists in the Arab world. Born in Beirut in November 20 1934, she rose from a modest radio chorus singer in the 1940s to an international superstar, bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions. Throughout the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990), Fairuz continued to tour globally but notably refused to perform within Lebanon to avoid appearing biased. Her unifying voice transcended sectarian lines, and her songs of peace and love became an anchor for the Lebanese people. She has recorded nearly 1,500 songs, performed in 20 musicals, and starred in major musical films (like Safar Barlik). She has performed at iconic international venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York. She is celebrated not just as an entertainer, but as a living symbol of Arab heritage and unity.#fairouz #فيروز #فيروزيات_الصباح❤ #اكسبلور #علموني

It’s Mac and cheese season so here’s a repost of Bradley’s @thenewethics.exe Mac and cheese recipe! Products we used: @daringfoods Buffalo chickn @violife_foods cheddar and Colby @kitehillfoods sour cream @earthbalance butter 1) Preheat oven to 400F. 2) Cook pasta al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. 3) Add pasta to ceramic dish. Add a large spoonful of sour cream and mix in until covered. 4) Mix in cooked/chopped buffalo chicken to pasta. 5) Add 2 bags of vegan cheese to a food processor or blender, and blend until no large pieces remain. Set a handful of cheese aside for topping. 6) Make the roux. Heat 3 tbsp of vegan butter in a large pot. Once melted, add 3 tbsp of flour and whisk until fully incorporated. Let cook for a few minutes. 7) Slowly add 3 cups of plant milk (~1/2 cup at a time), whisking milk fully into roux before adding more. 8) Add cheese and seasonings (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, nutritional yeast). Adjust seasonings to taste. Cook until cheese is melted into the mixture. 9) Pour the cheese sauce into the pasta and stir to fully coat. Once enough sauce is added, using the remaining cheese set aside earlier to top. 10) Bake for 20mins covered with tin foil. Remove foil and bake for 20 minutes. Use the last few minutes to broil until browned.
