Dream chasing. Something @kristenlouelle PREACHES, and has ultimately made me better for it. She once said, “Once upon a time you were a little girl (or boy) with big dreams that you promised you'd make real one day, don't disappoint yourself.”
That really hit home, and has become even more important as we became parents. Lead by example. Show our kids what it means to pursue your dreams, no matter what.

You should be more open about talking to your brother Brandon. He is really hurting, and could use someone like you to help him through the difficult times of not having a father. I walked away from my dad at 14 years old, it is painful. Please consider reaching out to him, he is a great kid with big dreams.
