i know this post will get more likes. more than my oatmeal and my bedroom wall and my roommate’s fishie (sorry sol, i think ur cute tho)

one) because @nelliebradfordphotography is a bewildering creator with a camera! hire her to take your couple photos, ppl in love. (and every other photoshoot need too)

two) because people LOVE seeing people. i mean we LOVEE it. i can’t stop noticing how it’s our favorite thing. we love seeing faces of real humans of this grand planet we all inhabit.

undeniably we were wired this way with an innate craving to be around others. we love our screens, but how much would we love technology if it didn’t let us see people? or read what someone wrote? or listen to what someone voiced? or if it didn’t connect us with our friends? we are relational beings. we are people all about people.

the depths of this reality are mystifying. what do you choose to reflect on tonight during your shower thoughts or whenever you lay awake trying to sleep? that each and every human has a unique story and essence of their own? that the triune God of the universe has eternally existed in community and thereby created us in His image with relationship in our dna? (Christianity) that being separated from a relationship with us, God turned his face from His Son Jesus on the cross so that He could look at us? and be with us ? in a real, personal, and unmediated relationship with us? (Christianity)
