Orange is the new black 🧡 A orange brocade court gown designed by Michael Wilkinson for the character Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) in Aladdin (2019). With the fictional city of Agrabah being a port city in the Middle East, Wilkinson drew inspiration from Arab, Indian and South Asian historical garments. This gown utilizes rich silk brocades with an orange and green color combination not often seen in Western dress.
