The Mid-Autumn Festival means more than just lanterns and mooncakes to me, it's a celebration of tradition, culture and time spent with the family.
As per tradition, we spent a full day at Chinatown, amidst the smells and the sounds we ate a hearty lunch and strolled passed the usual routes. Bought somethings here and there and visited the Buddha's tooth temple. Following that we returned home to a comforting and lively family gathering at grandma's place in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
It's hard to get time with everyone in our hustle bustle life but just a simple meal with the ones you love is all that you need.
