Kelly's long running joke of having a "crooked cerebellum" has now become a serious problem - 9mm of her brain is seeping through the deformed gap in the back of her skull that she was born with (5mm is considered dangerous), causing a lack of blood flow and oxygen. She has to have brain surgery this Wednesday October 21st - the surgeon will be doing a procedure called Chiari Decompression. She has been told there are 4 possible outcomes: she will recover & all the symptoms/issues she has been experiencing will go away, she will recover but still experience the symptoms/issues, she will survive the surgery but be paralyzed from the neck down, & that she has a 23% chance of not surviving the surgery.

Kellys recovery will be about a 4-6 week process. That will be putting a financial strain on her and her family due to them losing a third of their household income. As unfortunate as this is to say these funds would also be used if one the last two outcomes occur... Kellys family wants to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, well wishes and good vibes.
