Unfortunately our time was limited together it felt like I've known you my whole life.

Your caring, bubbly personality made it so easy to get over the fear of getting to know my girlfriends family. You embraced me as if I have always been there. The first year my family wasn't getting together for Thanksgiving you aksed me to spend it with you & your family. You're the only that can get me to eat Hoilday Ham & LOVE IT. It became our new tradition to spend it together. You know this but didn't take long for you to have me wrapped around your finger. There's was nothing I wouldn't do for you, and it was genuine I wasn't doing as a favor for my girlfriend's mom it was always for you. Just look what happened when you asked when I was going to marry your daughter.

I'll always remember our talks about growing up in house full of people. I thought I had a big crazy family until I met yours. Today is a significant day in many ways. Today was the day I met some of the Hurley clan for your 50th birthday. I remember you Nicky, Alyssa gave me basically a dossier on the family making sure I was ready for the "craziness". You know I found out that day? One day I was going to marry into a loving family who truly care about each other with a ton of fun & zero filters that to some outsiders might come off as crazy. I couldn't wait for the next gathering.

I've been thinking and talking to you the last few days & I know you hear me part of me feels like I hear you. I know you'll always watch over us. Happy Birthday our angel 💜
