QOTD: What is the right amount of books in a series? ~ Hello friends! I hope you’re having a great day! I honestly think there should be no limit to how much book should be in a series -As long as it is written well. But if I had to pick I would have to say probably 5 books are ~ Thank you @csutcliffebooks for tagging me in the #purplebookstack challenge. I have tagged some others along with this post but if you don’t want to participate you don’t have to. And if you’re not tagged feel free to join the challenge. 😁 ~ Books featured: • Broken Throne by @victoriaaveyard • Good Wish Gone Bad by Shana Muldoon Zappa & Ahmet Zappa • Wings of Ebony by @authorj.elle ~ #bookishchallenges #wingsofebony #brokenthrone #redqueen #epicreads #redaesthetic #mybookadventures📚 #bookstackchallenge #bookstacks #purplebooks #tbrlistthatneverends #bookishacademia #bookishaesthetic #lovereading #bookrecs #qotd #cozyreads #bookstagram #booklovers #ilovebooks #bookphotography #photography #aestheticposts #victoriaaveyard #paperbackbooks #hardcoverbooks #alwaysreading #yabooks

I never wanted to write this. We have to close WTRMELON for now. For two years, I’ve put so much of myself into this brand. My time, my ideas, my emotions. Over time, I built a team who believed in it just as deeply. People who stood beside me through everything, and who are still here. We’re taking this next step together. We wanted to create pieces that said something on the streets. Something that could make a stranger stop you, ask about your shirt and start a conversation. Seeing you wear those stories made all the work feel worth it. Most of you never saw what was happening behind the scenes. Customs problems. Police action. Court proceedings. Thousands of shirts destroyed. Paying to produce them again, then paying to ship them again. We kept the quality. We kept your prices and shipping rates the same. We absorbed the extra cost because we wanted to keep going and honour your trust. But it has become too much. I need time to breathe, think clearly and sit down with my team to decide what comes next. We’ll take that time to consider whether and how we can rebuild. We haven’t decided yet, and I don’t want to promise you an answer we don’t have. Before we step back, we need to clear our remaining stock. Our archive sale opens Sunday, November 8. 8 PM Dubai / 5 PM CET. Up to 40% off. The sale pieces are in stock and ready to dispatch. Once they’re gone, we won’t produce more of them. Still waiting for your “From the River to the Sea” order? We will fulfil it. Our commitment to you hasn’t changed. To my team: thank you for staying beside me when things became difficult. And to every single one of you, especially those here since day one: thank you. For every order, message, photo and conversation. For telling your friends. For wearing something we poured so much of ourselves into. You gave this brand a place in the world. Whatever we decide next, that will always mean something to me. You really are the best. Thank you for these two years. 🤍

Rachel Apa, 24, of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, tragically passed away after collapsing near mile 24 of the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2026. What makes this heartbreaking story even more devastating is the reason Rachel chose to run. She dedicated her first marathon to her beloved grandfather, who passed away from Parkinson’s disease in 2022. Rachel had spent months training for the 26.2-mile challenge and raising money for the Parkinson’s Foundation through its Parkinson’s Champions team. She wanted to honor her grandfather’s memory while helping others affected by the disease. A former Division I field hockey player at Bucknell University, Rachel was a lifelong athlete. After she collapsed in Central Park, bystanders and race medical personnel rushed to help, performing lifesaving efforts before she was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she later died. According to her family’s account, doctors attributed her death to rhabdomyolysis, a serious condition involving muscle breakdown. Her passing is a devastating reminder that behind every marathon bib is a person, a family, a dream, and a reason for running. Rachel may not have crossed the finish line, but the love and purpose behind every mile she ran in her grandfather’s honor will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences go out to Rachel’s family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. May she rest in peace. 🕊️💔
