10 years ago today, we released our EP ‘Collage’. 5 songs that have 23.9B streams to date. I remember being concerned that the songs might not be taken as seriously as an EP (and not an album) but we were still finding our sound and just weren’t ready for a full album. Of course, none of that mattered. The right songs will find their way to those who will love them. That is still true. As we move into our next chapter I think it’s important for us to remember what it felt like back then when the world still felt massive and the only thing that mattered was progressing our sound. Not the release format. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving these songs. It’s been the honor of our lifetime to sing them with all of you for the past decade. Ok 🥹 on to the next…

Sometimes you just need an objective eye and POV to help you see things clearly 👀 thanks @melissagold_ for posing the right questions to help me finally come to the decision to part with this dress 🩵 Editing your wardrobe is not an easy task. The feeling of guilt and the fear of regret are real, even for a professional stylist. If you’ve been around a while you’ll recall me styling this @destree dress a few times here on IG, but 18 months after purchase in Paris I hadn’t reached for it once in my REAL LIFE. And there’s a lesson in that too. The denim dress fabric reads ‘edgy’ but the shape and style of it leans very Parisian classic, which is not my style. Influenced by situational shopping? Definitely. Would I have bought this dress at a boutique in Melbourne? Unlikely. I’m pleased to report the dress has found itself a new home via @herrackaus and I hope the new owner enjoys it for years to come 🩵 If you’re having trouble editing your own wardrobe, the Styled by Sally team are here to help.
