OOOKKK, let's start this one off with a little story:
Way back in 2009 I was that classic concert kid, visiting loads of shows and festivals every year, waiting hours before the entrance to make sure I'm in the first row. Spending the whole day in front of the stage. (take a look at the last picture of me at that time and thank me later! 🦁)
At the same time I was in our local marching/brass band playing drums. We played (and still play btw) marches, polkas, waltz, all that kind of things and a lot of times these gigs ended at the local pub.
At one of these nights, Harry, a very good friend of mine, and I started talking about music, about me practicing a lot, about why I do that, about what my expectations are. The answer: „one day I play at the main stage at @novarockfestival “. I have to admit that Harry had a good laugh about that one 😅
But I kept telling him over and over that it’s going to happen some day. Part of me was pretty sure about that, part of me pretty naive and drunk 🙃
ANYWAY:
12 (TWELVE?!?) years later, on an amazing Saturday, @matthias.schuch took that picture!!! Still blows my mind, this really happened. Huge thanks to every single person who was there at this special day for me and @wearefleks
