This might be my favorite time of year. It’s that in-between time of late Summer, early Fall, where it’s warm enough to get sticky in the sun, but changing light is causing the leaves to yellow and begin to fall. There are still wild flowers along my favorite hiking trails but colors are turning yellow ochre and faded red brown.
