oh micah, i never expected to lose you, im not sure what to do in a world without you. it was just yesterday we were sitting side by side at lunch and walking complaining about ap world. through this loss ive been so much more grateful to know you, which i wish i had told you before. i never said to you directly how much i love you or how glad i am to have you in my life, but i hope that you knew from the smile on my face every time we were together. i am so blessed to call you my sweet, hilarious friend. since the first time i met you in the side part days in 6th grade pltw, we clicked, and every time since then i saw you there was no doubt that you would fill that time with joy or make me laugh until my stomach hurt. even on my darkest days you gave them light, it’s so sad that you’re not here to do that now. i’m not sure why this is a part of Gods plan, because you had so much life to live. everyday i loved hearing about your upcoming trip to LA and what clothes you were buying for it, or you talking about your first drive playlist. i would give anything for you to come back and experience those. i will never forget the countless memories and joys we have had together, and i’m SO happy we had them all. i will see you in the little things in life, like the color blue or shopping or playing snake or the walk to lunch. i promise to always save you a piece of gum and have some extra food on hand. i will think back on the memories of french last year and sitting against the back wall every day and laughing while we messed around instead of actually doing formatives, or kicking your feet in ap world. i will miss you singing heartbreaker in my ear at lunch!! some of my favorite memories in life are with you. finally, my micah, i love you so much and you will never be forgotten. you will live so so long within our hearts and your legacy will carry on for longer than you could ever imagine. i promise i will live every day to the fullest for you and to do all the things you wanted to, and i will always make an effort to stand up for what’s right and be proud of who i am. i love you my dear friend, always and forever. thank you for everything. 💙
