This, and the internet was never invented.
📱
I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
💻
The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
What do you think?

TO THE GREAT PEOPLE OF ALABAMA, GET OUT AND VOTE for these Great Patriots! They have my Complete and Total Endorsement and will never let you down! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Maybe the greatest thing Messi and Ronaldo ever achieved wasn’t winning trophies. It was giving their fathers a reason to say: “That’s my son.”

For years, the world argued:
“Who is the GOAT?”
Messi or Ronaldo?

But the real GOATs were the fathers who believed in them before millions knew their names.

Ronaldo lost his father, José Dinis Aveiro, in 2005 - too soon to witness how far his son would go. And just days ago, Messi lost his father, Jorge Messi.

Maybe somewhere beyond this world, two fathers are sitting together and watching their son’s greatness!❤️🫶🏽
