oh the places this piano has been…
oakland 1980s: aunt cindy’s house. sonoma 1990s: my childhood piano when cindy moved to portland. cric house 2009: when the cric house was full of people and music and my parents needed the space. sonoma 2015: to my brother’s when green valley went on the market. green valley’s farmhouse 2021: in hopes we put it back to good use, with ample homespun music and dance parties.
funny how things become more sentimental the longer you have them…

Oh the music it warmed our home with for all those years … Aubrie and Seth were quite diligent in their pursuit. Well, Aubrie was for sure! At piano recitals other parents often commented on how ‘she glowed’ when she played. My own childhood lessons got reinvigorated for awhile on this piano. ❤️ Aubrie, it looks right at home in the farmhouse. Yay to new life🎶 and may the piano music float🎶❣️
