It is a truth universally acknowledged that every 10 years or so, we are due for a splashy new version of ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ Now, Netflix takes its turn, with Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden starring as Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. Showrunner Dolly Alderton’s six-episode series respects its source material while teasing out some of the novel’s less obvious threads.
