UAB - a place I called home for 6 years. It’s a place that built me up to become who I am today. Walking across that stage last night, every memory I had in my time here played like a movie in my head.

I started undergrad without a career goal in mind. Throughout my time there, I conformed to the ways of the students around me - wanting to get into medical school and doing everything I can to get in. In that process, I made lifelong friends, unforgettable memories, and even met a girl that I would date 6 years later. A wise professor once asked a question, “Where is your hospital?”. Just like how we can ask ourselves “Where is my Church?”. Where can we serve in, where does God call us to, and what were we created to do? So I anyone reading this, where is YOUR hospital? Where can you heal others and be the light in someone’s life?

UAB is forever a special place for me. But I’m ready for a new adventure. The status of being a student may be over, but I will continuously learn new things and who knows, I might end up back in school to pursue another degree. How many is too many?
