Lavender Vase
Mixed Media // Aluminum Casting
14” x 5” x 5”
This was a fun experiment with ceramic casting. This technique is different than the other castings I’ve done because you build the metal mold around the sculpture, rather than placing the sculpture into the mold. So you can get tiny elements like the petals on each strand of lavender. This one reminds me of the lovely Bridgette Hammett @bridgette.hammett - lavender farm extraordinaire!! 🌱
