Wrestling- we say it’s one of the hardest individual sports. It’s requires dedication- motivation- self control- and sometimes just plain guts. Wrestling families tell you it’s a way of life- it is life. As a mom of many wrestlers- I am taxi- laundry service- dietician- medic- cheerleader- counselor- and can’t find a better way to spend any given saturday in January, February and March. This is year 22 of youth wrestling. And it all started with a little half page flyer and a wide eyed wirey nine year old. Thanks Bub- it’s still a great ride after 21 years of cheers and tears- injuries and championships. And a couple trips to the NCCA Division 3 Wrestling Championships.
