Alphas are mostly a pair of mating wolves and they walk up front because they choose where to go. The rest (aka their kids) just follows. They simetimes leave sleepy teenagers behind to snooze a bit more. Wolves DO have a very strong social organization, but it shows in other ways. (Like siblings of different birth years taking shifts to help the alpha mama out with their babies.) This post here is sweet, but kt doesn’t reflect reality. Reed up the explanation by wolf expert Radinger. 🙌
