ISTORIJA MEDIJSKOG ZLOSTAVLJANJA: Rani radovi Dragana J. Vučićevića

Yaks are shaggy members of the cattle family adapted to the cold, high mountain regions of Central Asia. Their long outer hair and dense undercoat help protect them from harsh weather, giving them that unmistakably fluffy appearance. While wild yaks typically have dark coats, domestic yaks come in several colors, including the striking white seen here.

For thousands of years, domestic yaks have supported mountain communities by carrying supplies and providing milk and fiber for clothing and textiles. Their strength and sure-footedness make them valuable companions on rugged terrain. Seeing this magnificent white yak heading out for a walk adds an especially charming glimpse of the everyday relationships people share with these remarkable animals. 🤍
