PMDD, or as we called her, Pam DD, almost took Amanda from me. I almost lost my person, the one who has always felt like home to me. For a while, it felt like we were losing something neither of us ever wanted to let go of. But after Amanda’s surgery, Pam DD was GONE. Just like that. And I got my Amanda back. And that’s when I realized I never actually lost her. And she knew she never lost me. PMDD is no joke, and watching someone you love go through it gives you a whole different appreciation for just how much it can affect someone’s life. I’m so incredibly proud of Amanda for everything she’s been through and everything she’s done to get to where she is today. Even during the time we weren’t technically together, I was still her biggest cheerleader. There was never a question of whether I wanted to be there for her. I love her, and I have zero regrets about being part of her journey through one of the hardest chapters of her life. More than anything, I’m grateful she trusted me enough to be vulnerable with me, to let me see the hard days, and to let me love and take care of her through them. And now? Everything is different. We get to experience each other and our relationship without Pam DD constantly inserting herself where she doesn’t belong. Through it all, we never really stopped being us. We just had a very unwelcome third wheel for a while. Turns out the only breakup we really needed was with Pam DD. Good riddance! #PMDD #PMDDawareness #longdistance #wlw #invisibleillness https://www.iapmd.org/pmdd

Happy birthday and Halloween to my person @tristanhamm 🎃🤍✨ ok I know it was yesterday on Halloween… I’ve waited SO long to say this and I’ve never written anything this long lol 🥹 ⠀ We’ve tried to keep this just for us, but it’s been a challenge not to. Not hiding, just protecting something special. Butttt I literally can’t keep him to myself anymore 🙈 ⠀ Cheer has been my whole life and career, and you’ve all seen a lot of it, but not all of it. But this adventurous Canadian man from the north helped me see there’s so much more to life than cheer 🤍 ⠀ Tristan, thank you for showing up in every way that matters. For loving me through the hardest parts of my life. For making me feel safer than I ever have. ⠀ I’ve spent my life being thrown in the air, trusting someone to catch me. With you I finally know I’ll never be dropped. You don’t push me or pull me. You stand with me, support my decisions, and help me see clearly so I can stand taller on my own. ⠀ You stepped into a world so foreign to yours and took time to understand it. This year I started taking control of my career and making my own decisions, and that isn’t always easy for everyone. You never told me what to think. You helped me show up calmer, more patient, and more loving through all of it 🥹 ⠀ You let me into your world too. I’ve met your people and they’re the most beautiful humans. Your family became mine. ⠀ We’ve traveled everywhere and been through things most couples never would. I’ve watched you overcome things I didn’t know were possible, and you helped me overcome them too. ⠀ You fight for a living but with me you’re the softest person I know. In a year that flipped everything, you’ve been my calm. You protect my peace, let me grow, and never once made me feel small. ⠀ The miracles we’ve seen together bring me closer to God every day, and you’re teaching me to love myself and others better. ⠀ These last few months were heavier than most will ever know. God gave me you right in the middle of it. I’m sharing this because if you’re in a heavy chapter right now, trust God through it. He’s still writing your story 🙏🏼 ⠀ I love you sm. This is only the beginning 🤍✨
