🤖💼 Palantir CEO Alex Karp believes only two kinds of people have a clear future as AI reshapes the job market. In an interview on the tech show TBPN, he put it plainly: “One, you have some vocational training. Or two, you’re neurodivergent.” Karp expects AI to hit white collar work the hardest, while skilled trades like electrical work, plumbing and carpentry stay in demand, partly because the rush to build new data centers needs people who can physically build them. For the second group, Karp, who has dyslexia himself, says people who approach problems from unusual angles could have a real edge as AI takes over more routine thinking. Palantir already hires with this idea in mind through its Neurodivergent Fellowship, which pays between $110,000 and $200,000 a year. Karp also warned at the World Economic Forum in Davos this year that AI will destroy many humanities jobs. What are your thoughts on this? 🤔💬 — ➡️ If you want to keep up with all the AI news, useful tips, and important developments, join 100k+ subscribers reading our free newsletter
A few thins I had to learn marrying into my balkan husband’s culture ❤️ (and there’s more) some things surprised me, some made me laugh and some not so much but it’s still (and forever will be) a learning process… like that saying NO in a balkan family is actually possible! It just takes practice. which one is the most true in your family? and if you’re married to a balkan man too, tell me what’s helping YOU? 👀 #intercultural #internationalcouple #balkan #culture life in the balkans, traditions, argentina, latina, mixed couple, snajka
2027: The Worst Is Over, We Are Pushing Into Prosperity – First Lady Remi Tinubu Tells Nigerians Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has declared that the worst period of economic reforms is over, assuring Nigerians that the country is moving towards prosperity. Tinubu made the remarks at the APC Women Mega Empowerment Rally held at Okpara Square, Enugu, where she urged women to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) and vote for the party at all levels. Addressing the gathering, the First Lady said the APC government was committed to delivering results rather than making promises, describing the empowerment programme as evidence of the party’s commitment to action. “We are done with reforms na prosperity na we dey now. Don’t let anybody deceive you, the worst is over, we are pushing into prosperity. Una hear me? Have you ever seen people  campaigning doing empowerment? So you are now seeing what APC government is all about. We no dey talk talk talk talk alone, na talk and do we dey do. You women… “Vote for our party from top to bottom. The kind baba wey we want na the one wey we get, baba wey care about his children’s education, baba wey care about our children’s health care, baba wey care about women,” she said.
