Some of the more magical moments of hiking the Appalachian trail. It’s hard to believe that I’ve already hiked 1/4 of my way to Maine. Thankful for rainbows after the storm, adventure buddies who like to blue blaze, seeing sunrise on the highest peak of the AT (clingmans dome), frosted ridges in the Smokies, ramen upgrades, tramily, highlands, the Fat man’s squeeze, bountiful waterfalls, and thinking back to where it all began.

Dude this is so incredible. I’ve been dying to find a group of backpackers to take a trip with bc I don’t feel like I have enough experience to do something like this on my own. Show me your ways! I’m so inspired!

Glad to see the tower at Clingman’s Dome hasn’t changed much since I was a kid! Love those mountains!
