India has demonstrated remarkable leadership in advancing non-animal science—a progress every Indian can be proud of. We must build on this achievement, not move backward. Wild animals belong in their natural habitats, community dogs and cats deserve protection, and animals in laboratories should be spared avoidable suffering. Celebrities, politicians, scientists, veterinarians, and animal protection organisations are uniting to urge the government to withdraw the proposed rules and introduce forward-looking regulations that strengthen animal protection while advancing human-relevant, non-animal science. Breaking up with someone can be one of the most emotionally difficult experiences in a relationship, especially when both people feel they have invested different amounts of time, money, and effort. While some relationships end because of cheating or major disagreements, others fall apart over smaller situations that reveal deeper problems involving appreciation, communication, and expectations. Gift-giving is one area where couples can experience serious disagreements. Some people believe the thought behind a present matters more than its price, while others feel disappointed when their partner doesn’t put in the same effort they do. Psychologists often emphasize that relationships work best when both partners feel valued, rather than keeping score of every purchase or romantic gesture. Sometimes an argument about a birthday gift isn’t really about the gift at all, but about feeling unappreciated over time. 💔 #Breakups #Relationships #Dating
It’s so special when the people you’ve been inspired and trained by appreciate your work. I got the opportunity to work with Vasu (Sreenivasan Jain) at NDTV only for ONE story, just one day. In just that one story, I learned so much about journalism that I practice today. It was so heartwarming to hear these words from our inspiration when we met him at a protest site a few days ago. PS - If this sounds like a flex, it is! Now that you have Vasu’s word, please follow @peektv_in and our journalism if you haven’t already :) Another PS - Context for the opening - While Vasu was recently reporting on a protest, a young protester asked him who he was. And he politely replied without any shock, despite being who he is :)
