Cricketing superstar Glenn Maxwell has now retired from international cricket after a 14-year Australian career marked by explosive batting and all-round prowess. Notable for two ODI World Cup wins (2015, 2023) and a T20 title (2021), his career highlight was an unbeaten 201 against Afghanistan in the 2023 World Cup. A news report in India Today stated that, struggling with injuries, Maxwell retired from ODIs in 2025 and was dropped from Australia's central contract ahead of 2026-27. His last international match was in February 2026, though he continues in T20 franchise leagues.💔🥹
