What makes a story unforgettable? Sometimes, it is the courage to ask questions, explore the unfamiliar, and find meaning in the moments others overlook. In this edition of MERI & RIME, we feature Joy Ibrahem(@joy.ibrahem ), a Dubai-based digital creator whose approach to storytelling is shaped by curiosity, authenticity, and creative experimentation. From fashion and beauty to human experiences and cinematic storytelling, Joy reflects on building an original creative identity, connecting with audiences beyond numbers, and navigating the evolving world of digital influence. Looking ahead, she shares her ambitions to create memorable films and establish a production company where bold ideas can flourish without creative compromise. A conversation about individuality, creative independence, and the freedom to tell stories that truly resonate. The way we respond to difficult situations often reveals how deeply we trust the Lord. It’s easy to remain patient when everything is going well, but what happens when someone disappoints us, speaks harshly, or disrupts our plans? James 1:19 reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. God never intended for our emotions to determine our character. When we allow frustration to control our responses, we often create problems that could have been avoided through patience and prayer. Before responding to something that upsets you, ask yourself whether your words will honor God or simply satisfy your emotions. Philippians 4:7 reminds us that God’s peace will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. You cannot control how others behave, but with the Holy Spirit’s help, you can control how you respond. Don’t allow a difficult moment to rob you of the peace God desires for your life.
