More money was spent on last night’s election than in any previous midterm.⁣
⁣
The man leading all donors was the ever-present Elon Musk. The trillionaire gave roughly $444 million to Republican candidates throughout the country. The whopping total made him the largest individual contributor in a cycle since Michael Bloomberg, who spent $1 billion on his own presidential campaign six years ago.⁣
⁣
Musk & Co.’s spending in aid of Republican candidates seemed to be a clear advantage for the GOP leading up to Tuesday. However, when polls closed, that advantage ceased to exist.⁣
⁣
In 2026, money didn’t matter. According to the media-tracking firm AdImpact, Republicans outspent Democrats on ads in nearly every competitive Senate race. All told, Republicans spent about $250 million more on Senate races than Democrats did in the general elections.⁣
⁣
While Republicans begin picking up the pieces from Tuesday’s fallout, one question will be on everyone’s mind: How much power does money really buy?⁣

Rapper Pusha T has no problem with rappers going at each other on records, but he believes there’s a line that should never be crossed when competition turns personal.

During a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, published November 2, the Virginia rapper shared his thoughts on the state of rap beefs in 2026, making it clear that disagreements are part of hip-hop.

“I don’t see a world in which artists are just going to get along at all times. This is a very competitive sport,” Pusha says.

However, the Clipse member believes artists need to recognize when a rivalry has gone beyond music.

“I’m sure that things have gotten out of hand, but they never need to go that far. As long as it’s music, it’s fine. Anything outside of that realm, it’s overboard.”

His comments carry weight considering his own history with rap beefs.

Pusha famously clashed with Drake for years, with their rivalry reaching a boiling point in 2018 when he released “The Story of Adidon.” The diss track exposed Drake’s previously unacknowledged son and became one of hip-hop’s most talked-about records.

The rapper has also exchanged lyrical shots with other artists throughout his career, building a reputation for not backing down from confrontation.

His latest comments come as rap rivalries continue to generate headlines, online arguments, and conversations about how far artists should take their disagreements.

For Pusha, competition isn’t the problem. It’s what happens when the battle leaves the booth.

Do you think two beefs get out of hand?

The Ricky Ponting-coached side has reportedly advanced considerably in negotiations with Mumbai Indians for the all-rounder's services, with Arshdeep Singh and Vishnu Vinod likely to be part of the potential deal.
