Celebrating #worldscarfday with a photo of our necker in the outpost on Brownsea Island (and an old one of me wearing it upside down on my head!)

Fireworks erupt dangerously close to a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter during a flyover at Seattle's Lumen Field, raising concerns about a possible timing mishap.

Video captures the moment fireworks shoot into the sky while one of four military helicopters is still flying overhead before the Seahawks-Bears game.

The helicopters belong to the Army's 2nd Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment, based in Washington state. | @outkick

$Strength through aesthetics never works 😭 The video shows a craftsman creating a decorative battle axe using traditional woodworking techniques, metal inlay work, and charring. While the finished product looks striking when cutting through a pumpkin, several comments flagged a critical flaw: fitting metal pins through dry, charred wood actually weakens the handle. Charring wood reduces bending strength by roughly 30% according to wood science research, and shallow treatment makes handles more prone to brittle fracture on impact. The visual appeal comes at a real structural cost. #woodworking #tools #axe$
