Ignore the sloppy front lever raise. The intent behind this post is twofold. One, look at those abs! LOL (this was from a chapter when I challenged myself to stay 6% body-fat or less for a year) I succeeded but let’s get on to point two. Why did I never post this before? Well, in the thick… or…perhaps the thin of it I thought this wasn’t lean enough always contrasting what I saw to my best not to mention looking at what other elites have accomplished. There is always another hill to climb and the goal is to better one’s best, but remember we are our own biggest critic and part of the struggle isn’t just the workouts or the meal plan but maintaining perspective. When bulking we are never big enough. When cutting we are never lean enough. Rather than just focusing on “perfection” just around the corner, choose to see not only where you are going but where you’ve come from at the same time. Different chapters will have different highlights and pitfalls. Sometimes you have to take a detour to get around an obstacle or injury. Fall in love with the journey not just the destinations along the way. Trudge on my friends :)

@yodas_first_apprentice I definitely miss training with you as well. Every time I go to the gym I try so hard to remember our weight training and cardio. But because it’s been so long it’s kind of a blur. But definitely a goal for a front lever raise! The family is doing great! You need to come out here and visit some time.
